Adopt-A-Highway
In September 2020, we were blessed with an opportunity to officially Adopt-A-Highway. This allows us to keep Nick's memory alive forever. Also, we're able to keep our 1 mile clean of trash and litter, which enables us to have volunteers help participate for a great cause.
Walking with a Purpose
We had a great time at this event! We partnered with Raymond Brock of Humble Living to get some exercise and hand out meal bags to the homeless. We walked a total of 4.2 miles between the cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock. It was great greeting them and the love we received from them was heart warming.
Christmas Toy Drive
Every December we have a Christmas toy drive for the local elementary schools. It is important to us to make sure we put smiles on the faces of the children who may not get the opportunity to open gifts on Christmas. It feels good to see the joy and shock in their eyes when they walk in the room and see the toys. We are anticipating the excitement of this year.
Blanket Fund Drive
We're supporting a good friend for a great cause. Every Christmas, Eric Lamb aka Black Santa, helps children for Christmas in various ways. One way is by providing blankets to children to help them stay warm during the cold months. We decided to extend a helping hand by doing a Blanket Fund Drive to assist him. Please support the cause and donate.
$500 Book Scholarship
The Nicholas R. Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by friends to honor a man who loved life, cared for others, and had the desire to succeed. This fund is designed to provide scholarship assistance of monetary value to help college or university book expenses for one student who is actively involved in community service activities. The scholarship is non-renewable.
